Keith Olbermann dismantles Miss California with simple facts and logic. Proving to those who may not already know that she is nothing but an insipid, useless, waste of space. I am glad she decided to speak out, because it solidifies the fact that she’s a moron who has NO clue what she’s talking about.
Sure, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. She is not what I would call pretty…she is an over-made, teeth whitened, implanted (attached to what looks like the body of a 12 year old boy, no curves) pageant puppet. Pageants are another rant for another time, but that is the path she’s chosen.
So Carrie, shut up and look good. It makes Donald money and that’s all he and those people want from you. When you’ve dropped off the pageant circuit and you begin to age, when no one is fawning over your “beauty” anymore, maybe you’ll find some substance. Maybe then you’ll actually think about the words that are coming out of your overly shiny, ridiculously large mouth.

She’s actually pretty crafty (I didn’t say smart) in that the more she can do to keep this story going, the closer she is to replacing Elisabeth Hasselbeck on The View someday. That’s just how it works: doesn’t matter what you’re famous for, just as long as you’re famous. She’s clearly not the smartest person ever, but she’s smart enough to cash in while the gettin’s good.
Well, I’m sure her press conferences are well run over with Donald or his “people” before she speaks, but you’re right. We live in a time when famous is famous, it doesn’t matter what for, if you have a brain or if you’ve actually done anything at all. If she can read a prompter, she’d be fine for mindless talk TV.
Goodness gracious, she’s about as sharp as a sack of hammers, isn’t she? And she looks like Jessie from “Saved by the Bell,” only too tan.

And yet, right here on your site, you post your voice over work - one of which is a commercial for a modeling agency. So it’s ok to promote beauty when you’re being paid for it? Even as just the commercial voice? How does that make you different? Hypocrite much?
Angeline, I appreciate you reading and commenting. Everyone’s entitled to their opinions, however I’d like to address your assumptions.
First, I was not paid for that spot. A little “behind the curtain” for you…in radio, when a client buys airtime for their commercials there’s a production person who takes the copy points and produces it into a commercial. When a female voice is necessary (usually the client will ask for male or female), they find someone who they think would fit the spot. I read and recorded that for KUBE93 in Seattle close to 7 years ago. I didn’t say my name, I didn’t endorse anything, I just lent my voice.
Secondly, that’s my opinion about pageants, I’m entitled to it and I make no apology for that. Like I said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I don’t find Miss California beautiful. Fake and overdone just isn’t my bag, male or female. I’m sure that the modeling industry is fucked on many levels, there are many models that I think are disgustingly skinny, not attractive and I wonder why they’re being used. If this same scenario happened with a model, I would have said the same thing. Miss California was speaking with no real understanding of what she was saying, contradicting herself, massacring the first ammendment, breaking the rules and laws of her industry, while still getting to keep her job and on the whole, looked like a complete idiot.
Me having recorded a voice piece, unpaid, where I don’t say my name or endorse anything, for my job 7 years ago does not make me a hypocrite. I stand by my opinion of both her looks and what she said. She’s not pretty (to me) and is an idiot.
