I’m not a huge fan of Rachel Maddow…she’s alright, but this was a great segment. So, it seems the lesson here is when all else fails, LIE. Seriously, this is NOT a matter of opinion, it’s fact. The “Troopergate” report has found that Palin abused her power and broke the ethics laws, yet when questioned about it, she just smiles and lies. It’s frightening.

This is a person who is running for the 2nd highest office in our country and doesn’t hesitate to look directly into the camera and lie to the nation in the hopes that they will believe her, rather than do their research and learn the truth.

Sadly, there are people who watch TV and believe what they hear or what’s reported. They don’t search out the facts in the stories reported…they hear it and they believe it. That is why it is so important to talk about things like this and post things like this and educate each other.

I personally can’t stomach the thought of another administration that so blatantly disrespects the people in this country. One that is so self-righteous and corrupt, they will lie straight to our faces and hope we just eat it. That is so far out of touch with where this country is and what it needs, that they just smile and reiterate the same lies. They are completely oblivious and I have to hope that we as a people will wise up and that we will call their bluff.
